Request and confirmation
Pay cash sends a request to the seller. It does not charge you. Your request records the selected items, agreed total and accepted payment methods. The seller can confirm the sale, say they are unavailable for now, or remove an item that is no longer available.
When the seller confirms, the selected items are marked sold and removed from the available catalogue. Pickup and payment details become available to this buyer. Arrange pickup together in your Shukaroo chat. Payment details are not public; details that the seller removes or changes will no longer be shown.
Paying and collecting
Check the item and pay the seller the agreed total at pickup, using an accepted method. Do not pay in advance. The sale and payment are directly between buyer and seller. Shukaroo provides listings, chat and pickup coordination; it does not buy or resell the item, collect or hold this payment, or verify a transfer.
No collection code is needed. The pickup moves to completed 48 hours after the seller confirms the sale; this is a coordination status, not proof that money or the item changed hands. If the sale falls through, the seller can put the selected items back on sale from Listings or Pickups. Any money already paid must be resolved directly and lawfully with the seller.
Agreed items and total
Follow the total and item selection recorded for your purchase. Later price or settings changes do not alter an existing agreement. For bundles, the whole-bundle discount applies only when all original items are selected together. Buying the remaining items after another has sold does not recreate that discount.
Questions or a problem
The seller must describe and supply the item accurately and handle any legally required refund promptly, smoothly and directly with the buyer. Whether a refund is required, and its amount, depend on applicable law and the circumstances. Contact the seller about the item or a refund. Shukaroo’s online-payment refund and payout procedures apply to online payments, not direct payments to sellers.
You can report an unsafe or misleading listing to Shukaroo. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded, including any responsibility Shukaroo has under applicable law. Sellers still need bank setup before publishing priced items so buyers can choose to pay online.
